Strangest Sculptures I've Seen - Vigeland Park, Oslo

So in my travels and musing on travels I happened to come across a park with the strangest statues that I've ever seen in my life.  Welcome to Vigeland Park in Oslo.  It is designed in honor of a rather unusual Gustav Vigeland who sculpted each statue in the park.  When I tried to learn more about the park they didn't really have much information on WHY he sculpted what he did, so I guess we just have to enjoy it as much as we can.

Fascinating stuff, indeed. A friend of mine started a series of poems inspired by the park. He was going to write a poem for each sculpture, but I think he lost interest a quarter of the way through.
